Mara is a junior majoring in Environmental Studies and pursuing a certificate in Data Science. She is interested in utilizing data visualization and geospatial analysis to investigate interdisciplinary topics, especially agricultural land management and conservation. Mara has experience with ecological data analysis and modeling as a Research Assistant at the Yale School of the Environment; she has also conducted research in Bhutan, studying the growth of medicinal plants in the Eastern Himalayas. Outside of class, Mara enjoys listening to live music, writing poetry, and hunting down the best cold brew in New Haven.
