Eduardo Fernandez-Duque

Professor of Anthropology, Department of Anthropology

Eduardo Fernandez-Duque is Professor of Anthropology with a secondary appointment at the School of the Environment at Yale University. He studies, bridging the fields of biological anthropology, psychology and primatology, the behavioral, physiological, and ecological correlates of monogamy, pair-bonding, and parental care of non-human primates at field sites in Ecuador, Perú and Argentina and Primate Centers in the US. He has published over 170 articles and chapters and contributed to the training of more than 400 students from 15 different countries. Dr. Fernandez-Duque is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Kavli Foundation. He is a recipient of The John P. McGovern Lecture Award in the Behavioral Sciences from the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
