Vladimir (Vlad) Gaylun is a product leader in deep technology. He serves as director of AI at the Yale Center for Environmental Justice (YCEJ), where he leads AI initiatives. Previously, he led digital and AI transformation programs in the energy and steel sectors and founded startups in the quantum computing field and AI-driven content systems. With 15+ years of cross-functional leadership, his interests include geospatial data fusion and remote sensing for climate risk, multimodal retrieval-augmented systems, human-in-the-loop decision support for frontline communities, and responsible AI governance.
