Emily is a rising senior at Yale majoring in English and pursuing a certificate in Food, Agriculture, and Climate Change. She is passionate about the environmental humanities and will be writing her senior thesis on depictions animal consciousness in literature. After Yale, Emily hopes to attend law school, where she will focus on animal welfare law. Specifically, she is interested in ligation against factory farming and the use of animals in laboratory testing. Outside of academics, Emily enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her dog.
