Nadav is a PhD Student in the Brando lab at YSE interested in the role of human land use in the earth system. His dissertation research concerns the impacts of agricultural degradation and management on carbon dynamics, hydrology, and microclimate in deforested regions of the Brazilian Amazon. In his work, he utilizes field work, laboratory experiments, micrometeorology, remote sensing, and modeling, facilitating research across scales. He is also a Geospatial Consultant for the Yale Library/YCGS and a Teaching Fellow for several geospatial courses across Yale.
