Geospatial Community of Practice
Wednesday, March 4, 2026 | 12:00–1:00 PM | 17 Hillhouse Ave, Room 101 (Teal Room)

The Geospatial Community of Practice continues this spring with our next gathering on Wednesday, March 4.

Following a strong kick-off session, we are building momentum by creating a consistent space for connection, idea-sharing, and collaboration across Yale’s geospatial community. Students, faculty, and staff from a wide range of disciplines are using geospatial data and tools in innovative ways. This series is designed to bring that work into conversation.

This session will focus on peer exchange and practical insights. Participants will have the opportunity to briefly share current projects, challenges, tools, or questions, and to learn what others across campus are working on. Whether you are looking for collaborators, technical input, or simply a broader view of geospatial work at Yale, this hour is meant to support you.

All experience levels are welcome. If you work with GIS regularly, use geospatial thinking occasionally, or are curious about getting started, we encourage you to join.

Come connect, share, and help strengthen Yale’s growing geospatial network.
