Curious about how uncrewed aerial vehicles are transforming research and real-world applications? Join this hands-on, three session training series designed specifically for undergraduates who want practical experience with UAV technology.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of uncrewed aerial vehicles, including core components, system types, advantages, and limitations. The series will introduce common UAV payloads such as RGB, multispectral, hyperspectral, thermal, and lidar sensors, with focused attention on UAV lidar applications. Sessions will also cover mission planning, data collection, data processing, and post processing workflows.
* Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate.
