Azam is a Software Engineering Consultant at the Yale Center for Geospatial Solutions, where he is developing software to address climate challenges. He earned his Master’s in Computer Science from Columbia University, where he was involved in research with the Columbia Climate School and NASA GISS.
Alongside his work at YCGS, Azam works at a startup, where he builds agentic systems for financial services companies. Previously, he worked at Deloitte, where he used AI and geospatial processing to deliver projects across sustainability, finance, and public policy. Outside of work, Azam enjoys exploring new coffee shops and bakeries and aims to visit 50 countries before turning 30.
