Debra Kirouac

Senior Administrative Assistant

Debra Kirouac most recently worked as the coordinator of academic operations and communications in the Center for Student Success at the University of New Haven (UNH). In this role, she helped connect students with various academic resources to ensure their success, and communicated regularly with faculty and staff to help streamline processes. Prior to her work at UNH, she served as the executive assistant to the provost and the associate director of the Tutoring and Learning Center at the University of Bridgeport. Before that, she worked as the executive assistant/communications specialist to the CFO at Save the Children.

Debra enjoys writing and considers herself a lifelong learner. As an undergraduate at the College of New Rochelle, she won a full scholarship to study Russian language, literature and politics in St. Petersburg, Russia. She also recently completed some graduate-level coursework at UNH in public administration and nonprofit management. Debra speaks (very) basic conversational Russian.
