Min Yi is a second-year Master of Environmental Management (MEM) student at the School of the Environment, specializing in Environmental Policy Analysis. She previously worked as a research assistant at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where she studied mangrove microbial ecology. She later joined Singapore’s National Parks Board (NParks), contributing to species conservation and management projects. Currently, she is working on building her knowledge in environmental policy and economics to enhance meaningful conservation programs.
Min Yi hopes to develop practical, impactful solutions by bridging ecological research and conservation policy. Outside of her academic and professional interests, Min Yi co-manages Brewhouse, a coffee catering service founded in honor of the legacy of Yale-NUS College. She also enjoys cooking, playing mahjong, and dancing.
