Sinafekesh Girma is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Yale Center for Environmental Justice in the School of the Environment. Her research integrates attribution science, geospatial analysis, remote sensing, and climate justice to understand how climate change and environmental degradation shape human vulnerability, mobility, and adaptation. Her work focuses on the interconnected relationships among water availability, hydroclimatic variability, food security, migration, and adaptation. Drawing on her interdisciplinary background, she combines geospatial methods and policy-relevant environmental research to generate evidence that informs equitable climate action and sustainable development.
