Are you looking to integrate GIS into your research or project but cannot commit to a semester-long course?
The Yale GIS Accelerator is a five-day intensive training program taking place May 11–15, 2026, designed for Yale affiliates who want to incorporate GIS into their work through an efficient and immersive schedule.
Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate.
Logistics
- DATES: May 11-15, 2026
- TIME: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM ET
- LOCATION (HYBRID): In-person at TEAL classroom or via Zoom (link will be emailed to registrants)
Who Should Apply?
This program is ideal for faculty, staff, and students across disciplines — including the humanities, sciences, law, medicine, social sciences, architecture, and environmental studies — who are working on a project involving spatial analysis or mapping. Whether you’re new to GIS or looking to refresh your skills, this program will guide you through the fundamentals of ArcGIS Pro.
* No prior GIS experience is required; however, participants should come prepared with their own projects.
